  Well worth the effort to visit if you are in the area, or go on a day trip from Launceston and check out Bay of Fires as well, you won't be disappointed.

  Super fresh oysters, in a range of preparations, and a magnificent piece of salmon with potato salad were our choices, and they were brilliant. Good selection of local drinks too, and a good view from the deck.

  Service was exactly as advised. We were told there would be a wait, and there was. This did not compromise the quality of the food. It was spectacular.

  Outstanding atmosphere, and even better food. If you love seafood and traveling this is an absolute must see & do. The food is immaculate, and service is friendly and prompt.

  Beautiful setting in a "shack" over the water. You order your lunch at the counter then have a seat on the deck (it has both a covered area and an area out on the sun). We ordered a fish taco and a salmon plate with warm potato salad. The food was incredible! The shack setting is casual, but the food here is serious so don't come expecting a cheap lunch. But the food easily lives up to the prices. Highly recommended!

  Fantastic seafood dishes (and fresh for sale seafood) with a good selection of excellent Tassie wines etc to match your meal. Nice outlook over the estuary perfect Tassie experience, low key and rustic styling perfectly suited to St Helens. I would love to spend an afternoon here sampling the local produce and relaxing.

  We just stumbled across this place on our Tasmanian holiday in February 2017, brilliant dishes we ate, a terrific menu of not a vast selection but I say keep it simple, do what you offer well and the food speaks volumes! We had oysters, carpaccio swordfish, swordfish steak, bucket of prawns, seafood Tom yum and the best bowl of tomato chilli mussels to die for! all whilst fresh Crayfish was being devoured next to us! It was casual and No pretences, seafood done very well, we rated you top level for our trip to tassie
